How to become a member

BENEFITS OF BECOMING A MEMBER?

To become a member the first step is to fill out and submit the application below. The application will then be reviewed by the Membership Director. Look out for a call from the Membership Director who will connect with you to review your application and discuss membership opportunities with you.  You must pay your one-time registration fee of $10 and your first annual membership fee of $25. Payments are to be sent by e-transfer to president@maltonbda.com.  That’s it! Congratulations; you will then now be an active member of the community.

Here are some of the great benefits of becoming a Member:

  • Belonging / Purpose: Do more than belong, participate in the uplifting of your community, and help create a space for you and I to belong. This can be done through participation in our committees.
  • Safety / Protection: By joining MBDA you can advocate on behalf of those in our community who may be challenged by the complexity of some of Canada’s systems, barriers to employment, challenges in the school system, etc.
  • Status / benefits: An opportunity to meet others who not only care but are willing to shoulder the responsibilities of building and sustaining a community. A chance to build your resume and show institutions and future employers that you are civic-minded.
