The MLSE Program provides Black students with after school tutoring and mentorship through sports engagement. Aiming to promote homework completion, academic excellence, and provide career guidance the community mentors use sporting activities to reinforce skills students need to thrive.
The program has three (3) main pillars; academic tutoring and mentoring for students; sports for development for students; and, parent engagement sessions.
For more holistic and sustained impact, innovative solutions are deployed to engage and connect with parents through family sporting activities, special celebrations, and award ceremonies.
